Ice Fishing & Open Water

Ken has been a licensed Wisconsin guide for 24 years. He fishes walleyes and bass but devotes most of his effort to muskie fishing, especially from July 1st until the end of the November. Ken’s range of water extends as far north as The Manitowish Chain and south to Lake Tomahawk. He’ll travel as far west as the Lac Du Flambeau Chain and all the way east of Eagle River.
 
Ken’s waters include all the St. Germain area lakes including the Rainbow Flowage. Other featured waters include the Sugar Camp Chain, North & South Twin, the Buckatabons, Arbor Vitae lakes, Minocqua Chain, and Boulder Junction area lakes.

During December, January, and February Ken will take clients on the hard water and target northern pike, walleyes, and perch. Full day and evening trips are both options that will both help you catch fish and learn some of the water that Ken has fished his whole life. He provides a safe trip that both hard-core ice anglers and family groups enjoy. Heated ice shacks and transportation to the spot are all arranged.

In the boat rates:

• 8 hours in the boat with Ken is $325.00 for up to two people.
• 4 hour rate is $190.00 for up to two people.

During the summer, Ken offers 6 hour muskie trips for up to two people. This is mostly evening and night fishing. The rate for this is $275.00

You’ll need to bring rain gear, snacks, and sunscreen. Sunglasses are good to bring along with a hat. Be prepared for all weather.

On the ice rates:

Full day:
Typical start around 8 am and fish until dark. Usually target pike in the morning and then switch to walleyes during the early afternoon. Ken will provide lunch on the ice. We will grill burgers, brats, or chicken.

Price: 1 to 3 people: $350 for the day.

4 or more people $100 per person.

Bait expense is then added.

Evening trip:
Focusing on walleyes and perch. Best to be set up around 2 hours prior to sunset and fish until 30 minutes past dark.. Just a short trip keying on the prime walleye hours.

Price: (1 to 3) people is $200 per trip and whatever bait expense is These trips are limited to only 3 people max.
